Hopefully someone can help?It just started a few weeks ago,Reverse is just fine but the forward gears have a long delay that you have to rev high to get it to go into gear, once in gear it shifts and moves just fine just the initial delay to get it there. It was rebuilt probably 15-20 thousand ago but about all i know bout the rebuild. The people that did the rebuild offered to do a pressure check for free but anything else will CO$T I am sure quite a bit.Anyone with any help I would appreciate so much

Well this is a day late to your question, but first, welcome to this wonderful site! You should find most of your answers to your questions about your explorer here. Secondly you might want to check your fluid level in the transmission. If it's low an automatic will not shift into gear initially like your saying it's not. Unfourtountly that is the only advice I can give you as I don't know that much about transmissions. (Someone else will probably know though.) When your dealing with an automatic it could be lot's of things. At any rate, I would have the company that did the rebuild to check for pressure if they will do it for free. Who knows, that might just be it.:)
