GPS Module Location

Does anyone know where the GPS module is located in a 2012 Ford Explorer? I bought all the equipment to "unlock" the navigation through FORScan, but the compass is stuck on "W". I'm assuming the GPS module must be bad! I tried a master reset of SYNC, but that did not fix the compass.

Yes, first you need to remove the APIM. After that, it is located to the left side behind the instrument cluster.
