okay... as I have posted before, Ive had some problems with my Granatelli MAS... what i was thinking is.. could I put in my stock sensor into the Granatelli MAS housing? So I get stock reads with improved airflow? Hmmm! Comments? Suggestions? Will it even fit?

Err. thanks!

if you have a grantelli mass air that was a stock unit bored out then the sensor inside was suppose to be calibraded for the new sensor readings. if you swap the sensors it will not run the way it was suppose to because the sensor needs to be calibrated for the housing you have. well it is suppose to be but it will still run with out it but not the right way any ways.

Ah, so the sensor needs to be calibratd for the new size. Okay.. well.. back to the manufacturer it goes then. :)

I have the same MAS meter on my truck.
Never had any problems with it. in fact its one of my favorite mods.

Now the reason the Granatelli MAS meter you bought was so expensive is because it has to be calibrated for the amount of airflow that hits the hot wire.

So if you were to install your stock sensor wire into the Granatelli housing it would work, but it would not work right and you would be hurting performance.
The Granatelli body flows more air through the meter, plain and simple.

Send it back and ask for a new one.
GMS has been very eager to help me when I had questions, they even sent me duplicate stickers for free upon my request.

You should expect trouble free, plug it in and go performance from their product.

OH dont forget to reset the battery....

Who knows whats up. I cant get them to return my email. I guess Ill try calling.
