Hello all.

Looking for some help. I found some dark green fluid on my garage floor last week, upon return from a long road trip. I put my Explorer back in its spot, and put a piece of aluminum foil on the ground to see if there was a leak. After a couple days, a few additional drops appeared. I tried hitting it with a UV/purple/“black” light, but there was no glow. Can anybody assist in identifying the potential issue?

Probably leaking oil from the A/C system. The dye *should* have fluoresced under UV light but who knows.... If your AC no longer works properly, you've identified the culprit.

Since a '17 should have come from the factory with orange coolant, it's not a coolant leak (unless some jackleg put the wrong coolant in it). Nothing besides the AC dye should be bright green in your truck.

Windshield wiper liquid green?, like rain x brand (I think)

As Uvaman suggested, it could be your windshield wiper fluid if that is green. The fluid reservoir is located in that area.

SOLVED. Was able to get into the area last night after posting. Filled washer fluid to the top. Marked with pencil. Went out this morning to confirm, and fluid on floor and level has dropped. Washer fluid reservoir must have a leak. Now to find the leak and get it repaired!
