Welcome to this forum! How many engines & transmissions did you put into it during the million miles that are on it? That is very impressive mileage. I put on 1,100 miles this year on my 1995 van. You probably put on more than that in a week.

I am VERY careful on cranking it these days. I hold the accelerator down to turn the engine over and build oil pressure before letting off on the accelerator and letting the engine fire off.

Race car builders use an electric pre lube system to prime the engine before it cranks dry.
