- 97 Aerostar XLT 4x4.
Hey all, just snagged a 97 Aerostar XLT 4x4 4.0 5speed auto. 126k on the clock now. It started life as a prisoner transport van for the state of SD, then I bought it at the state auction for my parents to use in their door business, 15-ish years later I buy it back from the company. It was awaiting transport to the scrapyard so I intercepted it for $200 and drove it home, it has been pardoned. I have missed having a truck, not sure why I like this thing but I do. Now it's time to decide what to do with her.
