I've spent a while trying to search for pictures of the mounting brackets for a grill guard with little success. I scored a guard on Craigslist for 50 bucks. It did come with brackets - I just can't figure out where the top brackets bolt up - the ones behind the grill/bumper.

Oddly, the Explorer and the guard came from the same owner - just 2 years apart - so the lower brackets are still there.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

What kind of grille guard?

I'll give you $75 for it. :)

I'm unsure of the brand, but I would guess Go Rhino or Manik perhaps.

And no thanks :-P besides, shipping would be a bear.

Pictures sure would help...

Yes, I've been searching for pictures. Namely where the brackets bolt up to.

I checked out my grandpa's 07ish Ranger that has a guard installed as well. His just has the lower brackets and nothing through the grill/bumper itself. I'm wondering if the extra brackets don't go along with the guard at all.

When the weather warms back up, I'm going to round up 4 bolts and get it on with the lower brackets and see where it sits.

I used to have a Warn grille guard that had similar looking brackets.
Those look like they bolt to the frame and run through the gap between grille and bumper to support the guard.
