GT 40 Cylinder Head Questions

A couple of quick questions:

How can you tell if a cyl head is a GT 40? (What are the markings?)

Does a GT 40 cyl head use a different intake manifold than a non-GT 40?

Thanks.

The head will have either "gt 40" or "gt 40-p" cast on it. The identifier will be in the rocker arm area under the valve cover

Or the bars stamped on the head...

GT40 has 3, GT40P have 4, and the GTP on the head...

And yes, the headers are different...

Thanks.

This engine I have does not have GT40 heads...

No matter, since I am going to use aluminum heads.

Anyone need a set of non-GT40 302 heads?
