Had my explorer for 1 year today

I have had my 07 Explorer for 1 year today. It has been the best used vehicle I have ever purchased so far. It just rolled over to 100k miles last week. All I have had to do over the past year is put gas in it and do two oil and filter changes., oh and probably 4 bumper to bumper hand paste-wax jobs. Very pleased with this explorer.

If you haven't already, drop the transmission pan, drain the fluid and install a new filter. Ford says the trans fluid is lifetime but it is not and could save you from doing a rebuild down the road. BTW, good to see you like your purchase.

The fluid is lifetime. It will last the exact life of the transmission! However, If you would like your transmission to last longer, replace fluid and filter as 94Eddie stated
