You'd be better off building your own front skid plate. The Ranger front skid plate is pretty thin. I think it was designed mostly just for looks.Originally posted by 994x3Oh

Yeah I was shootin da chit with SVO yesterday and he noticed that I didn't have a skid plate up front to protect the front end, (I think I got swindled on the off/road package) so maybe when I get up there to gilmer with everyone, we could put our heads together and come up with a way to bolt a skidplate on, cause I don't really want to damage anythhing on the front if ya know what I mean.
I have it on my Sport Trac and it's taking and beating and is deformed now. I have dented the bottom of my radiator because the skid plate flexed.
BTW, Nice Ranger!

I won't know the friday thing till proly friday, SVT Girl is trying to back out of it too, so I guess I playing it by the seat of my pants, don't get me wrong, I'll be going, just not sure when.
P.S. Thanx for coming up and hanging out with us friday night, hope we didn't scare you guys too bad.

I went to Mr. Kris Guilbeaux's new place, he expressed that he really wanted to go, but prolly has too many irons in the fire to make it a realistic chance at going with us.
And yes TrckmagiK, your green machine was looking good!

guys, do me a favor. new years day is on a Thursday. i know Barnwell is only open on weekends, but they used to have a big ride on new year's day. ask the old man or one of the ladies up front if they will be open then. if not, then i am planning a ride for the weekend before, which will be Dec 27th & 28th.

Hate the Army
OF all the weekends, the one that I plan to go do something cool, the army screws me.
Guys I'm sorry and I apologize but I will not be attending your guys's kick ass run that I sooo desperately wanted to attend.
I've got two blackhawks in California on deployment that are broke (they broke last night) So I'm going to be working on the weekend. I hope ya'll understand, and I apologize. I had all my stuff together too.....GRRRRR
