Handle activated interior light

Does anyone know if it is possible to make the interior lights activate when you pull up on an exterior door handle? my moms 89 probe did this, and it was a really functional freature.

My 95 XLT already does that, but it only works on the two front doors. Maybe you can check out a wrecked newer Explorer's front doors to see what kind of switch mechanism is used to turn the lights on.

I see some security/alarm systems advertising they do this, "entry activated interior light" was what they called it . Sorry I forget whitch kind they were.
