I have a 2005 Sport Trac, bought it a few months ago, tested 2WD/ 4WD High/4WD Low operation at the time and it worked - warmer weather. Now, winter in Montana, going into and out of 4WD High is no problem - luckily, but, going into 4WD Low is difficult - most of the time it doesn't work, no blinking light or anything, I put it in neutral and turn the switch and nothing happens, very occasionally it does work where I hear the "clunk" and it works and then trying to take it out of 4WD Low takes lots of time in neutral turning the switch back and forth and finally it goes out of 4WD Low. I've looked around a little and it seems like two things are mentioned - a module under the dash, and a motor on the transfer case. Any thoughts? Thanks.
