Due to a leak I need to "re-gasket" the hydraulic hose end connections to my steering rack and have no clue how to access. Even when on a lift I had a hard time seeing the connections. Plus I'll likely have to tackle this job without the benefit of a lift....very intimidating.

Doing some research I read about the possibility of accessing these hose end connections by removing the DS wheel. Is this the easiest route? If not, what process should I follow? Partially drop the rack?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Below is a diagram of the connections to the rack.....

4 years ago I replaced my rack due to a leak at the right hand end. As I recall, I mounted the rack before reconnecting any of the hoses so they should be accessable without dropping the rack. Consider pulling back the inner plastic shield from the left front wheel well to get to the line(s). I was able to hook them up without assistance and while only supported with a floorjack / stands. Good luck.

Thanks Rocco! I'll have to bite the bullet and dig in this weekend.
