For the period since I've owned my '01 Sport until right about Nov 15th (coincidentally, the same day I upgraded my tires to stock sized Pirelli Scorpion A/T) I was getting 17 - 20 in mixed driving. Since the 15th my mileage has plummeted to 12 - 14 in the same driving.
I live in New England (Boston area) and the only real issue I can think of (besides the cold starts) is oxygenated gasoline which usually rears it ugly head right about this time of year. The winter blend fuels changed the mileage in my last car (1995 v6 Contour 5-spd) from 320 miles per tank summer to 275 winter.
Has anyone else in New England had their mileage or anywhere else disappear recently? BTW, I haven't switched fuel grades, service stations or even pumps. I usually drive around town to 40MPH and 70 Highway.
