Has anyone taken the Explorer/Moutineer V8 and bored it and put a 347 stroker kit in it ???
I have a 98 Ranger 4x4 and wheel it very hard. I have 33's on it with the small 3.0L V6.
I live in Calif so the Explorer motor is a good choice for smog reasons.
Any info will be appreciated !
I also am planning to change out the Tranny, Keep the stock transfer case. 9" Rear end w/ Detroit, Dana 44 w/ ARB up front.
I have ent decided on the suspension. I am either going to do a 3/4 eliptical ( goofy leaf ) setup, or go with coilover shocks. either way I will have very little lifft and tons of droop and flex.
What does everyone think ???
