Hello all,
I am new here and thought I would throw out a question to you all. I currently have a 89 long bed ranger that has had a sas done and has been turned into a truggy and now I want to run an explorer. There is a first gen ex at a local junk yard that the body is clean and so is interior so I was thinking about putting that body on the ranger frame and was wondering what your guys opinion is on it. I know I would have to move the body mounts but was wondering how much wider is the frame on the ex compared to ranger, the wheelbase on the 5-door is close to a long bed ranger,the ex is like 2 inches shorter. and the ranger only has the 2.9 so is it gonna be able to handle the extra weight?
