Hey members. Getting ready to take my heads in for resurfacing and valve job. After they resurface the heads, do I need to add a shim or spacers when I put it back on the block? Does it change anything when this is done? I've read about changes in compression ratio, misfires, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've never had this done and I don't know what to ask or tell the machinist. Thank you.
