I'm new here. I'm stationed over seas and its hard to find people that can help me with my 93 explorer. I have a problem with my headlights flashing on and off after having them on for about ten minutes. If i unplug my left light then my right will stay on with no problems. I can't figure out what is going on hopefully someone can help me out here.

sounds like the headlight relay is getting worn out and needs to be replaced ....could be that removeing one of the lights is makeing the load of the relay easier ...haveing 2 going at the same time is overloading the thin metal strip in the relay and causeing it to cut off and on ( heats up then cools down ... thus the action on/off ) .....any electro-mechanical device will give out over time ...they wear out.
