OK today I was changeing out the stock air cleaner on my 94 Limited (what a PITA for something so simple) and while trying to tilt it backwards it hit one of the coolant hoses and knocked it off. this thing is a "thingie" that two hoses go into and two hoses that are offset come out of and go into the heater core or through the firewall at least....there is a round thing at the end of this.....what is this thing ???? I think I need to get my hands on a used one or a new one as the hose that poped off looks like someone in the past broke off the fitting that the hose slides over and clamps onto.....now the hose is clamped onto just about 1/4 inch of material and I dont like that...a good pull and it will come off....like I asked....what is this and where do I get one ????

Thanks
Dwight P

That would be the heater control valve and the plastic is probably rotten by now.
Should be $20-$30 at any auto parts store.
