Heater Hoses

Been replacing all the heater and Radiator hoses on my Explorer due to the fact they are 22 years old, although they have no signs of bulges or softness and still look in good shape. Got most of them replaced but I cannot find the two hoses that connect to the Heater Control Valve, Part #XL2Z18495BA (YG364 ). Question is, has anyone replaced these hoses and can I use regular hose in place of the molded hoses. There are some tight bends on the lower one.
 






OK, here's the hoses I'm talking about. Strange the Ford Dealer told me those hoses are discontinued and are no loner available. I've attached three pics so do you think I can run universal hose or not...
