my heater only blows cold air . replaced heater control valve about 1 yr ago , because it was leaking . temp gauge reads fine , and doesn't fluctuate . coolant level is good . could it be the thermostat , or possibly another bad heater control valve , or maybe something else . have read about the blend door problem , but is that only if it just blows hot . any help would be greatly appreciated .

you have a broken blend door. i had the same problem no heat. the door had broke and was blocking the air from going over the heater core. for a quick fix i took a drill with a 3" cut off wheel and cut open the heater box and glued the door in the heat postion and reseal up the hole i cut.

then i started looking at the pick and pull yards for a good heater box with a good door, i found one for $20 and on a nice weekend removed the complete dash panel and replaced the heater box.
and now i have hot and cold again .
