please help my 94 explorer's heater works great when its working. problem is when the truck has run for awhile the fan quits blowing. and anywhere from 1/2 hr. to 1 hour it will kick back on. any advice greatly appreciated

first make a set of 2 wires with alligator clips...on one of them if you can have it put an in-line fuse of the same amps as your fan. After that unplug the fan and with the wire set plug it directly on the battery after you started your engine of course. Then if the fan run correctly and stay running then your problem must be the thermostatic relay. It could send a wrong signal. If the fan just stop by itself even plugged directly on the battery then you know that you fan clutch is the problem so change the fan. It's so simple :)

welcome jerry
