Hi there, just wondering any Heavy Duty Steering Rack to suit my Ford Explorer XLT 1997 V6 SOHC....?

I am looking for Rack with Metal Housing instead of factory alloy housing, mine just cracked in half while I was wheeling of road....

Any other model to fit on my gen2...? Please advice, thanks!;)

I've never heard of a rack cracking from use, no matter how hard.
And I've never seen a rack made with anything other than alloy.

I think you should look for other reasons why your rack broke.
Maybe you hit a sports car?

Maybe you could look into swapping in a rack off something else, I know the 2000 Land Cruiser has rack steering.
The earlier ones have a steering box.

Check Range Rovers too. I know they had a rack in 2003, maybe the earlier ones would be cheaper.

lol! yeah seriously its a first time too and I did not push it that hard and I know there is no way a big rock could ever hit that rack because it sitting on the cross member.. Just thinking maybe one of my wheel dropped into the gap then I heard the crack noise but and after that my steering wheel moved into 1 O'clock position... A day after the trip, I had a look and found a crack on the middle of the Rack.... Its still drivable and no oil leaks...

It looks like the cross member flexed causing the crack.
Maybe you need to truss the cross member.

what do you mean truss the cross member...? I just ordered another rack and see how it goes :)

Build a strengthening support bar across the cross member so it can't flex.
