Finally finished my Hella HID install. All that is left now is aiming them and then testing them on the trail!

Heres the rack with the lights and ballasts mounted:

Sorry, my camera really sucks at night or I just don't know how to use it right. They definitely need some aiming but I didn't take any tools to do so. Guess I have a project for tomorrow night:D

Here's a couple shots I really like:

Also, here's a short write-up in the Performance Lighting section:

And a couple cool shot

wow miller that looks awesome:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Looks great! Must be nice to flick a switch and have daylight:D

I think you need a small black pushbar with two HID floodlights...

Furken sweet, if you ever need to cook some food in the bush your set:thumbsup:

i dont think that would look good with the body lift, would it ?

I actually do have a bull bar and was thinking about getting the 3000k bulbs for fog driving. But I think a total of 10 HID's on the front might a little overkill.

Wow I think that might be a little much lol have you had to get a high output alternator yet?

just kidding, that would look badass.

your right though 10 hid's is alot haha

No high output alternator yet. I just got a second optima yellow top but still have yet to mount it. Then I will probably step it up to 230amp.

i wouldnt worry about a high output alternator to much, even if you had 10 lights running its only drawing 30 amps, even if you fired them all at once i wouldnt think it'd be a huge problem

MillerTime,
what kinda basket is that?
i wanna get a basket for a spare tire and some gas cans.

Yeah I went out for a quick drive after work tonight and turned on all my electronics at once. I was still running and 14.1v. Im sure it was still putting a decent strain on the charging system though.

Its a Rola Rack:

Worked out really well this last time I went wheeling. I had plenty of room for (3) 2-gallon gas cans and a spare. Im gonna go get another can cuz it looked weird with only 3. I bet I could even get away with 5 cans.

yeah real basass lookin thou, I actually only currently have four tires thou....lol im prob just gonnna craigslist 285x75 and see if i can buy one tire.
i do wanna get a basket

^What he said. Don't HID's draw less power than halogen bulbs?

I really like the pushbar on there, but that's my opinion. Either way it's a baddass ride!!!

Just a thought, what if you painted the outer part of the pushbar the body color and left the center portion black?
