- 2006 Ford Explorer XLT
I have a 2006 Explorer XLT. Was doing the standard no crank thing. Power, lights stay bright. I tightened loose negative batery post cable and it started. Then it no crank again so I am assuming its the old starter as it has 150,000 so I might as well change the starter. I look at the old starter and see it's been changed and it was working so I returned the starter and all was fine until tonight. No crank, lights bright. I get under and smack the starter and wiggle wires and it starts. Any thoughts are appreciated. I'll run throught the no crank checklist I found on our forum.
Thank you!!
