I have a 2006 Explorer XLT. Was doing the standard no crank thing. Power, lights stay bright. I tightened loose negative batery post cable and it started. Then it no crank again so I am assuming its the old starter as it has 150,000 so I might as well change the starter. I look at the old starter and see it's been changed and it was working so I returned the starter and all was fine until tonight. No crank, lights bright. I get under and smack the starter and wiggle wires and it starts. Any thoughts are appreciated. I'll run throught the no crank checklist I found on our forum.
Thank you!!

Thanks BrooklynBay,

Remembering weird clicks under the dash that got my attention and that poor connections seem to be the root of almost all evil I'll try all these today. Thanks for the quick response!
