- 2007 Eddie Bauer.
Hello from Toronto. I am new to the forum, but not new to Ford SUVs. I owned a 2005 Excursion 6.0 Powerstroke diesel. Went from that to a Ford
Fusion -- yup -- and after two years couldn't live with the FWD and lack of space. Bought a 2018 Explorer XLT off the showroom floor. Loved it. The nicest vehicle I've ever owned. But I was hardly driven -- especially during the pandemic. We put just 12,000kms on it in nearly two years. That didn't justify the car payment. Sold it this month. Purchased a 2007 Eddie Bauer with 292,000kms on it! 4.6L V8, optioned up with captain's chairs and power 3rd-row seats. To b honest, I like it better than the 2018. It feels more like a truck. And of course, the V8 is way more fun than the 3.4L V6, which was way too low on torque. The only issue I'm having is no power to the DVD player, and the transmission is a little chunky, but I'm working on that.
