I keep throwing a P0401 code and I have replaced everything I know to replace on the EGR system....valve, vacuum regulator, sensor....am I overlooking something? Even used a can of Sea Foam to clean things out. Tubes look good, idle is not rough. Sometimes at road speeds it will run a little rough. Each time I've replaced something CEL will go off for a time and then come back on with same code showing. Have to pass emissions to get new tags and I can't get this thing fixed. Help!!!!!

Here is a cheater secret. Reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for about a minute. Once reconnected drive straight to get it inspected. It's a long shot, but it just might work for you as long as the drive cycles have reset. Good Luck!

Welcome to this forum! It might have a cracked vacuum line or a bad DPFE sensor.
