This is my first time on this site. I just joined and am attempting to understand all of this. I hope that this will satisfy the requirement for a New Member Post. I found this site when I was exploring the Web about my Explorer. It is very confusing, or at least seems so to me. There are apparently many members. This is our first Explorer and I'll have to admit we bought it because of the capabilities that it has as opposed to anything else. My wife does Border Collie training, or should I say she is being trained, so she must have a vehicle that will A) Accept at least two dog cages with room left over and B) must also be capable of pulling our RV and C) where we will be living must be capable of multi-wheel drive. This narrowed the possibilities consederably. We traded in our Chevy Astro Van for this 2007 Explorer with 20K miles. We live in eastern Massachussetts, have for about 30 + years and I guess that's enough for now.
