Help Please ! Alarm Problems
Hi,
I am a new member.
I have put my key fob in the wash.......i know....idiot!!
After drying it out the red light comes on when pressed.......but it will not unlock the X (also tried holding to receiver). I had to get in via the rear window which trigered the alarm system!.....I have disconected the battery.....and left 20mins. When reconected....alarm sounds again.
I think the fob is damaged.
My problem now is turning the alarm off ! Every time i reconnect the battery it sounds.....is there anyway of disarming the alarm? Then i think i need to buy a new fob...can you reccomend somewhere? I have seen the post's on the subject of re-programing fobs.....so i think i will be alright on that side of things.
