Help! Alignment issues

because of the adjustable tie-rod on either side. 2 adjustable tie-rods = 2 adjustable toe settings. Although looking at the individual toe settings will only tell us whether or not the steering wheel will be centered when driving straight.......

So, to measure individual wheel toe, the opposite wheel must be in the straight-ahead position, in line with the axis of the vehicle, as long as both tie rod ends remain connected to the system. Considering this then allows setting the overall vehicle toe to the correct value, while keeping the steering wheel centered. imp

I don't know how the individual toe measurement is found; nor have I ever taken the time to look into it, because it really doesn't matter (nor do I care).

most (if not all, now-a-days) alignment machines take measurements of all 4 wheels; not just the front.

Personally, what I would do, is take your truck to another alignment shop, one that DOES alignments.

Sears, Firestone, GOODYEAR. and see what they have to say...

Midas... well... lets just say I wouldn't trust them with a set of copper washers... (no offense if anyone works at a Midas)

I dont see much difference in any of the 3 places mentioned above but I might go to a Goodyear before Midas.... Only thing positive I could say about Midas, well, actually could not say Anything Positve....

The saying goes, if you have nothing positive to say do not say anything at all.... So I have nothing to say about Midas.....

Well i cant seem to locate these bolts, does anyone know anywhere i can order these online?

Alright quick question i got these in but my alignments is all over the place i messed it up even worse, should i have it towed to the shop or just drive it?

depends on how far you have to drive.

after replacing my LCAs and tie rods, I had a helluva drive ~10 miles to the alignment place. Toe was so out of whack tires would squeak now and again going down the road, along with steering being all over the place.

But I was also able to drive relatively slowly.

Just doing the camber adjusters, unless the toe is way out of whack (as in, very noticeable), and you don't have too terribly far to drive I would just drive. As long as you're not needing to drive 20 miles at 60mph

Well i didnt feel safe having to drive it because i have to go on the higway to the alignments shop, im happy to say the truck is now alighned believe it or not Goodyear did it.
75 bux they also say my tires front tires are cupped and need to be balanced, oh yea and he thinks the sound of my worn out mt is a bad wheelbearings, there brand new!

Good to hear, I have yet to do the UCA's. I hate to mess with it until absolutely necessary. After 15 years, torsion twists, and 5 or 6 different wheel tire combos/sizes, I have yet to need an alignment. Have had it checked multiple times too.
