Help fast - Rear Brake line leak!

never used a screw extractor in many years of wrenching.

every vehicle is different, even side to side on the drums but i would clean and soak everything for a day at least then go at it.

six point sockets are a start and vise gips if they do not work.

it took 2 days to get one brake line fitting off recently with 2 different pairs of vise grips

good luck and i wish i was there to help..

Well, the extractor was unsucessful and it even broke so I retuned it for a refund!
I got the bleeder screw out of the same side I got the fitting out, but the other side I couldn't get either out, so I said F it and got new cylinders for both sides, new adjuster screws, hardwared, and shoes!!! Got the shoes put on okay, wasn't too difficult if you keep one side on for reference as mentioned above. Got the new brake lines all hooked up. All I got to do tomorrow is slide on the drums and bleed the system. I sure hope my brakes and parking brake work like new after all this comotion!!
Thanks for the help boys!!

Sounds like a great job pugsy!

glad you are getting close to the end of this ordeal.

make sure you have enough new brake fluid to do the bleeding and keep topping the fluid up.

do this, fill up the system, have some one pump up the pressure for you, this is when leaks show up from not tight enough fittings.
