My heater on the Ford Ranger doesn't force warm air. I tried fixing the blend door but is still blowing very cold winter air. Please help.

...It may just be a case of a loose/missing vacuum line or, you could have a bad dash switch...I have seen this related more to the 95 rangers and 95 explorers though...:dunno:

Yeah I'd follow the heater lines up to the heater core and see if the lines are warm (after the engine has warmed up). If its not, then the problem is upstream of that. Like on my van, the electronic vacuum solenoid which controlled coolant flow needed to be replaced as it would not open.

No Warm Air

The hoses and the heater core are very hot, the fan switch works perfectly.
It's still blowing cold air through the defrost vents. I tried fixing the blend door as suggested. No luck.
