I have a 91' Explorer Sport 4x4. Its been sitting for about a Year (10months) with a Half tank of Gas in it. I live in Kansas.

What do I Need to do to Properly fix my Explorer?

Do I Drain the gas? A friend suggested I add STP Fuel Treatment and add Premium. Let it run it all out. Then change the Fuel Filter and do a tune-up on it.

Before I parked it, it had a new Alternator and Starter (needing a new battery).

Any information is worth something than None to me. Thanks!

First, put key in ignition and turn to see if it starts ! Been sitting for ten months, maybe the battery needs to be jumped or charged.
Chances are ten month old gas will be just fine.

Your question however is quite vague..."What do I need to properly fix my explorer?"

Need more information, like what is wrong with it...Try starting it first.

Sorry for being a smart a** but I am not a mind reader.
