Help! How Remove Evap Line from Fuel Tank?

How do I remove the Evap Line from the top of the Fuel Tank? Black Hose w/Gray Connector to White fitting. I stole a piece of someone else's pic to illustrate. Pic shows white connector AFTER line removed. That's the condition I want to achieve! Thx, Mark

Looks like it might use the same connectors as the fuel line. If that's the case you need the disconnect tool available at local auto parts stores/horrible freight etc.

Actually, I discovered that you just squeeze it with your fingers. But it was a little chilly yesterday, and quite hard to squeeze at the angle I had on it. Got it off today. The following link was quite useful: http://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/showthread.php?p=422000 . Thx, mbruffey
