hey guys, i have a 98 explorer, 4.0 sohc, auto, awd. i kno about the infamous intake manifold gaskets, and i think thats what needs to be done. but this morning when i went to go start it up, the engine was rotating, and then i heard a loud pop, and white smoke came fron the back of the engine, near the firewall, and it smelled of fuel. do u think the gaskets def need to be replaced now? anything will help.
