Hi
I have this rusted away bracket under the rear of my 97 explorer sport. I think it's holding up an emissions system component. It's above the spare tire, on the drivers side.
Sorry - I'm not permitted to post attachments/photos for some reason.
Can anyone identify the bracket just by the description I gave? Name and potentially a P/N? I want to see if any junk yards have one or possibly ebay.
Also, what's the component the bracket has mounted to it? Part of the emission system? It appears to be a black plastic box which has at least two hoses running from it leading towards the axle and along the drivers side frame.
Thanks.
SO I found this thread http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=308628 It has the photo I was looking for and it is part of he EVAP System. What's the proper name?
Now the Bracket on Mine is totally rusted away.
Is it possible to get just a bracket or would I need an entire EVAP replacement Part (again, not sure of proper name)?
