Help Identifying hose

What is this hose? There is a connector in the middle in front of the intake, then it goes under the battery tray somewhere. Thanks.

That hose is so rotted it's literally split in half. I'm surprised I'm not getting an EVAP code. I started data logging because of an erratic temp gauge and notice my fuel trims are really high, so I'm thinking a vacuum leak. I did clean the MAF just incase.
 






yes that hose open to atmosphere = vacuum leak
Fix that sucker
Regular rubber fuel line will work you can use splices to keep the factory connections on both ends
This is part of the fuel vapor management system, that hose is where fuel vapors enter the intake on the 5.0
