Hey all,
Can someone measure the installed length of their shocks for me ? Preferably without a torsion twist or bolt drop. I did have this figure written down but lost the piece of paper I scribbled it on.
If you're not sure why I need this, have a look through the thread in my sig.
I'd prefer the installed length of the shock (as opposed to ride height etc)because I need to reset mine to stock height at both ends to finalize running board position - and there isn't really enough stock bits left on mine to measure, except the shocks.
Mine was a 2000 Limited V8, but I imagine stock ride height was reasonably consistent over all Explorers of this era.
