I do appologize in advance if this has already been addressed here, but I could not find anything after many searches. My X: '99 EB special AWD SOHC V6 with Auto Climate Control. Recently the climate control would not send hot air out. I followed all of the procedures I could find here on the forum and so far here is what I have been able to determine:

The blend door is not broken - I can manually move the door and get hot or cold air out.
The various outlet controls are working - Floor. panel, defrost, etc.
I removed the blend door motor and the motor does not move under HVAC control.
I applied voltage directly to the blend door motor with a 9V battery and it runs freely in both directions.
Nothing happens when I move the temp control (display) from cold to hot/hot to cold.
I have checked for and cannot detect any voltage going to the blend door motor in any situation.

I need your help and I want to thank you all in advance for your assistance!

I hope someone can answer this for you, because I have the same problem. I'm wondering if there is some sort of relationship between the vacuum function and the electrical function in the EATC, because I know I've got a vacuum leak, just haven't gotten around to finding and fixing it. It seems my EATC died about the same time that the vacuum leak announced itself. By the way, my EATC won't go into self-diagnosis mode, have you tried that?

Tom
