I have a 05 ranger with a 02 explorer motor, I drove it into the garage to replace the front timing chain tensioner, started it, ran like crap, stalled...I pulled the drivers side valve cover, camshaft came apart so replaced that, if got the timing tools, reset everything to tdc, put it together, it fired once. Ran like crap, wont start back up, if checked the timing a dozen times, I cant turn the camshaft by hand, ( rockets are still on) but i can turn the whole engine by hand, any input would be great! Been working on it a week now.
