HELP ! Radio Illumimation wire ?

On my 97 Explorer the Illumination wire on the radio has no current , so the buttons don't light up.

can anyone tell me wear this wire gets it's power from or a wiring diagram would help also.

It looks like you should take a look at the dimmer module.

Yes, I think the dimmer module is part of the headlight switch.

Well I put A used dimmer module in , and that fixed the radio light problem, now my fog light button dosen't light up.

guess they had alot of problems with these modules.
will buy a new 1 now !

also need a bulb for the headlight switch, thats a strange bulb !
 






My headlight illumination has been out for at least 8 or 9 years. That light is lit anytime the key is on, so the bulb burns out quickly. I can find it in the dark, so I don't worry about it. :p:
