Hi all, my caris 99 xlt v6 4. 0 with SOHC. Recently it has become a lot of noisy especially in highway, I checked the muffler and it has a long break along the welding line and totally rusted. So I want to change it with a new one. Is it a difficult job? The two ends from catalytic converters are clamped with pipes, but I am not sure if the end goes to the tailpipe is welded or not. Additionally, the nuts of clamps are totally rusted out, so WD-40 can help to screw out? Thanks a lot in advance.
