I just started putting in the message center a couple days ago in my 98 Sport, Im having some trouble in getting the m/c to light up, I went to Ford to get radio wiring schematics to see what wires were what since the previous owner cut the factory harness off. I have the ignition tapped into the black/pink(also tried it in the yellow/black, I have the battery tapped into the lt. greed/purple which is correct. The illumination is tapped into a red/black(I have two) one of which gets no power at all the other which is the one I tapped into gets power only when car is running and lights on. Yet there is nothing on the screen of the m/c. Anyone care to help me out please Im about to explode the Exploder!
