umm... you will need to 1st see what gears you currently have (search the site and browse the stickies (they are like FAQs for this stuff)... If they are 3.27s then you will have to regear (otherwise the transmission will feel like its in the wrong gear all the time and lug the engine).. Sort of like trying to take off from a stop light in 3rd gear (no acceleration).

i was also wondering wut else i have to buy with my lift kit(brake hoses, stabilizers, ect.) could u help me out?

Well assuming your lift comes with the shocks and everything else needed to lift the truck 4 inch. All you wuld need id extended brake lines. I would also replace the ball joints because it sucks when you get it all going and go to get an alignment and they wont do it because the ball joints are shot. Its a lot easier to do when its all apart. There always seems to be a bunch of little things that you never think of until you go to install the lift.

Well I tried to help you out by letting you know there is a TON of info on this already. That being said you need to let us know exactly what kind of Superlift kit you plan on buying and what comes with it... Some kits include shock others don't, some include new leaf springs, or bracketry for a SOA etc... At the very least you will need to install longer front and rear brake hoses as Colindo94 has mentioned.

What exactly do you mean "what else i have to buy in order to install my 4in lift from super lift with no problems" ? Are you asking just what parts are needed or what kind of installation problems can arise? A 4" lift may not be enough to clear 33s without the tires rubbing.

What is your mechanical background and ability? When working on any vehicle (especially one 17yrs+) things will break during the installation process. If your brake hard lines are heavily rusted they often break when trying to remove the hoses. This will require you to bend up new hardline or pay $$ for pre-bent line at a specialty shop.

Do you have an auto or manual transmission? If you run 33s with improper gearing your engine will be working behind the power curve and lug... This will put a lot of stress on the transmission.

i have an auto with a 3.73

I'd go with 4.10s if you want to run 33s.

where could i get 4.10s and i how would i put them in

how many 4.10 ring and pinion sets should i get
