So not too long ago i was having connection problems with the battery and after attepmting to jump it a few times i said screw it so i fixed the terminal to cable connections (which i should have done in the first place) and after that a lot of wierd **** started happening. the e brake light is on all the time, the rpm guage isnt always accurate, car dies at stops, and the car bounces in and out of overdirve. there are countless things i could think of, but im not excellent at narrowing things down so i might need suggestions. Im almost positive its not the regulator, it could be the idle air control or maf sensor or even the computer...any thoughts?

You could have a loose ground somewhere. That can definitely cause weird stuff to happen. This happened to me last week. In my case, the driving lights wouldn't turn off, and the A/C blower motor would come back on after I'd turned the truck off and removed the key. Turned out the negative battery cable was loose where it bolts to the firewall and the relay for the driving lights needed to be cleaned. Isolated the problems shaking the lines and watching to see if anything changed.
