I have an '89 Bronco II with a hesitation problem over 45 mph. (Tach drops by 1000 rpm intermittently.) I already replaced the spark plugs and wires, air filter, fuel filter, and put new gas in. I pulled the codes which turned up as follows:
Key on engine off: 22
Continuous Memory: 121
Engine Running: 72, 73, 74
Is there a way to check these various sensors (MAP, MAF, TP) without just replacing them one by one? Does anyone have any other suggestions or similar problems? Anything would help, I'm just getting started on this.
Thanks.

Your DTC 121 is Throttle position sensor out of range
DTC 22 is MAP or BARO signal out of range - MAP
DTC 72 is No MAP or MAF change in "goose" test - retest, check for frequency or voltage change
DTC 73 is Rerun test, if 73 is still output replace TPS
No Throttle Position Sensor change in "goose" test. Must get at least 25% throttle rotation
DTC 74 is Was brake depressed after engine ID was received?

You might want to do a search on EEC-IV and TFI diagnostics. There is a lot of info on diagnosing this system and it's various sensors. It's always better to take the extra time in diagnosing than to pull and pray that this part or that part will fix your problem.
