hey guys quick couple of questions

hey guys im somewhat new to the forums , ive been a long time lurker : ). im a highschool student that got handed down a 95 explorer xlt with 140,500 miles on it. ive always liked the offroad scene and there is a few good spots around me that some of my friends go to. the explorer is basically stock with a lous custom exhaust and audio equipment.

However i have been looking into maybe upgrading the suspension. i plan to buy add a leaf kits and then i was wondering what would be some good shocks? somewhat affordable, i do have a job and pay for everything on my own, but i dont wanna be zeroing my bank accounts. after the add a leaf kits and the shocks i plan to put warrior shackles, and 31 inch tires? or 32?

well i have to do the torsion twist eventually to level out the front with the back once i am done with ?

you will need to do the TT wo level out the front with the rear shackle lift. as far as shocks i would go with a base Rancho or a Monro Reflex.. good shocks at affordable prices. how much offroading you plan to do will determine what else you need for your vehicle. a 2nd gen with the TT and shackle lift is a worthy light offroader and you could prbly get away with 32s. whats your stock gear ratio? thats gonna be the most important factor.
