Hi

I will be installing a home-built HHO generator into my 1997 Explorer Sport Trac. I will splicing the unit into an ignition wire via a 4-post relay in order to have the unit only generate while the vehicle is on. Can someone tell me where I can find this ignition wire? Is pulled from a harness/soleniod/starter? What's the best way?

You can easily find a ignition controlled circuit at the fuse block.

Doesn't have to be ignition wire, just has to be ignition controlled. Something that turns on when the ignition is engaged, or the engine is on.

Great. I managed to hook it up to my day lights (which come on when the truck is started). I wired it up and completed a successful bench test, producing great hydroxy results. Next step, install it in the Explorer and take it for a drive.

FYI - I've built a "Joe Cell" with 16 gauge stainless steel tubing. 3 inch (unit casing), 2inch (neutral tube), 1.5 inch (positive) tubing, all evenly seperated by rubber spacers. The unit measures about 12 inches in length.
