I just found your site by chance, looking for accessories for my Explorer.
About my Explorer:
1997 Explorer Sport
Red w/ Grey Fenders
4.0 V6
Control Trac 4X4
3 Spoke 16" Chrome Rims
85,000 Miles, Runs like brand new
It was purchased from a local credit union after it was reposessed.. I got it for $3,300!!
So far I have removed the Nerf Step bars that I believe it came with. They were becoming rusted and I believe it looks better without them.
I am looking for the factory 6 Disc Changer that many Explorers came with, as mine did not come with one and I would like to add one to mine. I also plan on adding a Thule Ski Rack, because skiing was my first love and my passion. The final first "mod" you could call it is some sort of CB Radio, possibly a Cobra.
