Hi-Steer Arms 10-degree correction

So I'm in the market for some d44 hi-steer arms and everyone is saying that the 10-degree corrections helps a great deal during articulation.

My question is, other than the fact that the surface is milled with the 10 degree offset, is the TRE mounting hole also drilled at 10 degrees?

BTT - bacon , tongue and tomatoes

I do not believe so. My heim-joint BTF arms, the surface for the misalignment spacers is still 0*

My arm is from sky manufacturing it has the 10 degrees of correction built into it.

Ideally, Yes. But I have seen arms both ways. On the ones where the TRE taper is angled, it will be milled at 10 on both sides so that the TRE nut lines up with the taper.

Here is the one I run that is correct:

So the ones you run have both the top and bottom surface milled with the offset angle?

EDIT: nevermind, I looked at PMP's webiste and found another angle of that same arm, so yes the bottom is milled with an offset too:

BTW Jefe, does the passenger's arm have 5 holes total on it (3 mounting it to the knuckle, 1 to link to other arm, and 1 to link to steerring box) ?

I ask cauz I want to run the steering-box link straight to the arm - so I'm looking for arms like these (but these don't have the 10 degree correction):

Mine does not (that pic is exactly like mine) as my tie rod is run between 'stock' knuckle locations.

Gotcha - thanks

Ouu that would work. Looked at the Sky website and they have another set of arms thare cheaper than the ones above. I'll keep that as my backup tho - I'm going to call up a place in Michigan sometime this week. I think this MI shop has the same design for cheaper because the arms arent as thick - which is good 'cauz I don't need to clear leaves. Haha i'm CHEAP!

They also have standard arms:

Hehe yeah, I umm meant to say that in my last post (I had a run on sentence on that post - I think i was halfway typing one thought and went on to another). Its edited now tho.

Odd thing was I already went to bed, but decided tonight is a no-sleeper for me (have to get up in 2.5 hrs anyway), then re-read my last post and then realized I had two thoughts running into each other in one sentence.

Yep, same for me. Got to finish packing and drive the 30 miles into work so I can get a ride down to SeaTac airport about 100 miles south to start on my trip to Iraq.

A Birthday Present
A Christmas Present
4 Pictures of myself taken during the time of our friendship
And *at least* but not limited to: 1 email per week and
